Why is it important to be mentally fit?

Here’s the deal folks…if you focus on the negative, you attract the negative. When you’re fixated on the stress in your life, the worries, the to-do lists, bills, and whatever other items your laundry list includes, your body responds to all that stress in a negative way. For me, I was exhausted in every sense…taking naps every day, packing on the pounds, and not getting anything on that to-do list done with any sense of urgency or feeling of accomplishment.

Enter personal development. No, I’m not talking about hokey self-help books. I’m talking about empowering books to help put you in a positive place, to serve as a means to focus on the good in your life, to remind you that life is not all about the “stuff” you have to do. It’s about putting a finger on what your passions are, and really listening to yourself and what you want out of life.
